1. Definitions

| Soom | A type of advertisement through which price offers for the listed item are received. The seller has the right to choose the appropriate offer without any obligation for any party to complete the sale or purchase.
2. Role of the Application and User Responsibility
Rev Performance Company owns and operates the Rev application and website, providing an electronic platform for users to post personal advertisements for auto parts, accessories, and related materials. The location of the listed item must match the seller’s registered address when creating an account. Additionally, Rev provides logistics solutions through specialized third-party shipping and delivery partners.
- The platform's role is limited to providing a digital space for interested users, without bearing any responsibility for any transactions or agreements between them or any obstacles faced with shipping companies.
- Rev does not provide guarantees regarding the quality of listed products or the reliability of the parties involved in the transaction.
- Rev is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use of the platform.
- Rev does not assume responsibility for disputes arising between users.
- Rev does not guarantee the quality of products or the credibility of buyers and sellers.
- Rev is not responsible for shipping delays, damages, or losses caused by logistics providers.
- The user is fully responsible for verifying the accuracy and legality of transactions conducted through the platform.
3. Advertisement Rules and Guidelines
To ensure a secure and reliable user experience, the following rules must be followed when posting advertisements:
- The user must register using a valid phone number and email address owned by them.
- The advertisement must be categorized under the appropriate section (e.g., transmission, engine, accessories, etc.).
- The title and description of the product must be clear, with an accurate price and real images included.
- Advertised products must be personal items; commercial listings, third-party postings, or company advertisements are prohibited.
- Each advertisement must be for one product only; multiple items must be listed separately.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Users are responsible for understanding shipping costs, customs fees, and import regulations when requesting international shipping. Rev does not assume responsibility for any issues related to shipping.
- Rev does not guarantee the quality, timing, or cost of shipping. It only serves as a connection between the customer and the actual shipping company.
- The user must be aware of items prohibited for export/import by the relevant authorities. Rev is not responsible if an item is confiscated.
- Rev does not assume liability for confiscated goods due to violations of customs regulations or import laws.
5. Soom Advertisements
- This type of advertisement allows users to receive price offers based on the details listed, without prior communication with the seller.
- The seller is not obligated to accept any offer and may choose freely.
- Price offers must be genuine, realistic, and made in good faith, without attempts to manipulate or deceive. Rev reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these conditions.
6. Prohibited Advertisements
Posting advertisements that include the following is strictly prohibited:
- Stolen goods or items without official documentation.
- Full vehicles (the platform is strictly for auto parts and accessories only).
- Items that violate traffic laws or environmental regulations.
- Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive ads.
- Ads that violate cybercrime laws or consumer protection laws in Kuwait.
- Damaged or unsafe auto parts that could pose a safety risk (e.g., airbags, wheels, or critical safety components).
- Illegal or offensive content.
- Ads that violate local laws in the country where the ad was posted.
- Non-original, counterfeit, or fake products that do not meet safety standards.
- Ads for maintenance or repair services.
- Misleading claims about product condition, such as listing refurbished parts as new.
7. Advertisement Modifications or Removal
- Rev reserves the right to modify or remove any advertisement that violates the platform’s terms.
- Free ads (if available) may have a limited duration, as determined by the platform’s promotional campaigns. Rev may extend or cancel this feature without prior notice.
- Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
- Once an advertisement is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
8. Ratings and Reviews
- The platform allows users to leave ratings and reviews to share their experiences.
- All reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.
- Offensive, misleading, or defamatory reviews are prohibited.
- Users must maintain respect and avoid using inappropriate language.
- External links or promotional content in reviews are not allowed.
- Rev reserves the right to review and moderate all ratings and reviews.
- Fake or misleading reviews may result in legal action.
- Creating fake accounts to manipulate reviews is strictly prohibited.
9. Payments and Financial Rights
- The cost of paid advertisements varies based on features and display duration.
- Payments are processed only through electronic payment methods.
- The user is responsible for verifying and completing payments successfully.
- Payments for ads that violate the platform’s terms will not be refunded.
- Credit balances are valid for one year from the purchase date.
- Refunds are only issued in cases of technical system errors, provided a claim is submitted within 48 hours.
- The user acknowledges that Rev integrates with third-party payment providers and is not responsible for payment-related issues.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
- Rev is committed to protecting user privacy and does not share data unless legally required.
- The user is responsible for any personal information shared in public fields such as phone numbers or emails.
- Rev ensures confidentiality and discloses data only in legally justified circumstances.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
- All intellectual property rights of the Rev application belong to Rev Performance - Kuwait, including content, trademarks, and data.
- Copying or using any platform content for commercial purposes without prior permission is prohibited.
- By posting an advertisement, the user grants Rev a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display the content for marketing purposes.
12. User Responsibilities
- Users are fully responsible for the content they publish.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws in Kuwait and the GCC.
- Misuse of the platform for illegal or harmful activities is strictly prohibited.
13. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
- Rev reserves the right to modify these terms as needed.
- Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates.
